Have you ever looked back on a completed project to realize that there were actions you could have taken to help that project run more smoothly? Don’t worry you’re not alone. This happens to all of us. Good quality preparation is one of the best ways to ensure your projects are successful. Projects which involve freelance graphic designers are no different.
After years of work as a freelance designer, I’ve put together this checklist of considerations to help you ensure that you achieve your goal of a successful outcome.
The checklist is a general overview to aid you in finding and onboarding a designer for your project. It does not deal with the individual details of specific project types such as designing for websites or tradeshow materials. This checklist meant to aid in helping you find the right person and make sure they have the resources they need to play a role in achieving a successful outcome.
Also, I’m a fan of collaboration. If you spot anything that is not on this list which would be helpful to include, please email and let me know.
